Angelus is an isometric action RPG about a spire whose bells stopped ringing four hundred years ago. You carry the only light there is.

Ring three bells on every floor to unseal the stair. Everything that fights you can be killed or spared - and sparing costs you: two seconds standing still with your blade down while the room keeps coming. What you spare stays lit, so the way down is lit by exactly the mercy you could afford on the way up.

THIS FREE DEMO...

* The Foot of the spire and all four floors of the Undercroft
* All three classes: the Warder (shield and ward), the Herald (bow and distance) and the Exorcist (rite and word)
* Three difficulty settings, from Postulant to Penitent
* The original Latin score and the opening film

The full game climbs twenty floors through the cloister, the scriptorium and the firmament, with three Landings, their Keepers, and the bell at the top.
