ChaBox is an open-source, free, no-sign-up, zero-preset offline file
security workstation for personal and professional use.

It supports local encryption, decryption, archiving, unarchiving, and
secure wipe, and does not rely on cloud services.

  and live preview, while notes are automatically encrypted at rest.
