#### Local context-compression proxy and MCP server for AI applications

Headroom compresses prompts and tool output before forwarding requests
to your LLM provider. It includes an HTTP proxy, MCP server, code-aware
compression and AWS Bedrock support.

**Examples**

```
headroom proxy --port 8787
headroom mcp serve
headroom.cache-ttl --help
```

**File access**

Headroom can use files in your home directory. To also use USB drives
and other removable media (/media, /mnt), run:

```
sudo snap connect headroom:removable-media
```
