Instagram port for the desktop environment (Unofficial release)
Remember that trick with a browser? The one that emulates user agent of a mobile browser... Well, there you go. The app that does it automatically and lets you experience the social network on a desktop.
Just a simple HTML wrapper built with Electron.
**Some bug fixes
**Press unmaximize button and the app will autosize itself to support the story mode
**Notification Bubble was fixed
**Experimental Notification Bubble feature was integrated (Might not work properly or work as expected)
**Ubuntu 19.04 bug was fixed
**Code libraries were renewed
**Camera interface was added (Should fix external camera issues)
Use the command line and type:
snap connect:instagramport:camera :camera
To check if the interface was assigned successfully:
snap interfaces :camera
*Supports Direct message feature
*Lets you upload pictures
*Filters, Boomerang and other fancy features are not yet supported.

It has a screen positioning bug, so will not be able to upload stories unless you'll set the position of your screen to vertical
