#### Astro Flow is a focus timer based on the Flowtime method.

Astro Flow is a focus timer based on the Flowtime method.

In the Flowtime method, the timer counts up until stopped. Depending on how long you focused, you get longer break time.

* For 25 minutes of work or less, take a five-minute break.
* For 25-50 minutes of work, take an eight-minute break.
* For 50-90 minutes of work, take a 10-minute break.
* For more than 90 minutes of work, take a 15-minute break.

## Enable snaps on Pop!\_OS and install Astro Flow (Flowtime)

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Pop!\_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install Astro Flow (Flowtime)

To install Astro Flow (Flowtime), simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install astro-flow
```
