Its background service discreetly monitors Spotify without getting in your way. When an ad starts to play, Spotify is muted immediately. When the next track begins, the volume is faded back in. You can open the Calaboka app to see what's going on, including how many ads you were spared from. Installation Note: On older systems, the installation may fail with error "experimental feature disabled". If this happens, please run the following command and try again: sudo snap set system experimental.user-daemons=true Disclaimer: Calaboka cannot mute ads built into a track (such as ads inside a podcast), skip ads, nor block visual ads. They update automatically and roll back gracefully. Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions. ### Enable snapd On Arch Linux, snap can be installed from the [Arch User Repository (AUR).](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/snapd/) The [manual build process](https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Installing_packages) is the Arch-supported install method for AUR packages, and you’ll need the [prerequisites](https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Prerequisites) installed before you can install any AUR package.
