#### Contains the CUDA library and the CUDA Samples Utilities

This snap implements the Utilities from the CUDA samples repository to be able to run them on
Ubuntu Core 24 using the `gpu-2404` interface. It also provides the CUDA toolkit on the `cuda`
slot. This allows other snaps to connect to this slot and access the CUDA files without having
to install them.

## Enable snaps on Pop!\_OS and install cuda-uc

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Pop!\_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install cuda-uc

To install cuda-uc, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install cuda-uc
```
