#### A new Unsplash wallpaper every day

Daily Wallpaper fetches a photo from Unsplash once a day and sets it as your
GNOME wallpaper.

* Search terms or collections decide what kind of photos you get
* Images are downloaded to match your monitor resolution
* History of recent wallpapers, one click puts an old one back
* The time of the daily change is configurable
* Old images are cleaned up automatically
* Available in English and German

Open the app once after installing: that sets up the daily change and
fetches the first image right away.

Unsplash search needs a free access key from
<https://unsplash.com/oauth/applications>, entered in the settings. Without a
key, images come from Lorem Picsum instead.

## Enable snaps on Fedora and install Daily Wallpaper

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Fedora from the command line:

```
sudo dnf install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

To enable *classic* snap support, enter the following to create a symbolic link between `/var/lib/snapd/snap` and `/snap`:

```
sudo ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
```

### Install Daily Wallpaper

To install Daily Wallpaper, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install daily-wallpaper
```
