#### NDI integration for OBS Studio

DistroAV (formerly OBS-NDI) is a plugin for OBS Studio that adds NDI® (Network Device Interface) support, allowing you to send and receive high-quality, low-latency audio and video over your local network.

This plugin provides:

* NDI Source: Receive NDI video/audio in OBS
* NDI Output: Send OBS video/audio as NDI
* NDI Filter: Apply NDI output to individual sources
* Preview Output: Send the OBS preview as NDI
* Audio Output: Send audio to NDI

NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB.

**Installation**

Install the snap:

```
 sudo snap install distroav-obs-studio
```

Then connect it to the OBS Studio snap:

```
 sudo snap connect obs-studio:obs-plugins distroav-obs-studio:obs-plugins
```

Once connected, the plugin will be available in OBS Studio after restarting
it.

## Enable snaps on elementary OS and install DistroAV (OBS NDI plugin)

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on elementary OS from the command line. Open *Terminal* from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install DistroAV (OBS NDI plugin)

To install DistroAV (OBS NDI plugin), simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install distroav-obs-studio
```
