**Installation notes**
Please note that:
* After installing the Fing-Agent snap package, you need to run a script to connect all necessary plugs to interfaces. Execute the script with the following command: *sudo /snap/fing-agent/current/script/connect-fing-agent.sh*. To ensure the Fing-Agent has been installed correctly, you can check the status of the snap with: *snap list fing-agent*
* The Fing mobile application is required to activate and access the data.

## Enable snaps on Debian and install Fing Network Scanner
Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.
Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.
### Enable snapd
On Debian 9 (Stretch) and newer, snap can be installed directly from the command line:
```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```
After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:
```
sudo snap install snapd
```
### Install Fing Network Scanner
To install Fing Network Scanner, simply use the following command:
```
sudo snap install fing-agent
```
