'GLAD Error': since august 2025 a error window occurs with the snap, still trying to find a solution.

Interactive physics simulator where you can sink ships (boats), throw them around, bend them, and burn them. There are many different ways that you can destroy a ship in Floating Sandbox, what's your way?. This software is donationware, this unofficial snap is made to let it known to more players.

Note: in the ship editor the GUI is not display correctly.

## Enable snaps on Pop!\_OS and install Floating Sandbox

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Pop!\_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install Floating Sandbox

To install Floating Sandbox, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install floating-sandbox
```
