Globulation 2 is a real-time strategy game where food, workers and space shape your expansion. Grow a sprawling colony, balance its competing needs, and contend with rivals for land and resources. Your creatures act autonomously, letting you guide the colony as a whole.

Grow an economy that can sustain your ambitions.
Food, construction and training compete for your workforce. Decide where workers are needed and balance new ambitions with the needs of the colony you already have.

Make the map part of your strategy.
Different maps call for different strategies. Adapt your expansion to the terrain, choose what to defend, and find the routes and resources your colony needs.

Defend what you've built.
Your economy supports both growth and defense. Balance the needs of your colony while rivals compete for land and resources, and prepare for conflicts that can decide the match.

## Enable snaps on Pop!\_OS and install Globulation 2

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Pop!\_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install Globulation 2

To install Globulation 2, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install globulation2
```
