#### Glouton Monitoring Agent by Bleemeo

Glouton have been designed to be a central piece of a monitoring infrastructure. It gather all information and send it to... something. We provide drivers for storing in an InfluxDB database directly or a secure connection (MQTT over SSL) to Bleemeo Cloud platform.

Once installed, run the following commands so the snap will function as intended:
sudo snap connect glouton:mount-observe
sudo snap connect glouton:network-control
sudo snap connect glouton:hardware-observe
sudo snap connect glouton:system-observe
sudo snap connect glouton:process-control
sudo snap connect glouton:physical-memory-observe

Glouton require some special options to log into your bleemeo account (panel.bleemeo.com):
export GLOUTON\_BLEEMEO\_ACCOUNT\_ID=<YOUR-ACCOUNT-ID>
export GLOUTON\_BLEEMEO\_REGISTRATION\_KEY=<YOUR-REGISTRATION-KEY>

## Enable snaps on Debian and install glouton

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

On Debian 9 (Stretch) and newer, snap can be installed directly from the command line:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:

```
sudo snap install snapd
```

### Install glouton

To install glouton, simply use the following command:
