Control USB power on a port by port basis on some USB hubs.

This only works on USB hubs that have the hardware necessary to
allow software controlled power switching. Most hubs DO NOT include
the hardware.

The following is a list of Hubs that are known to have the hardware
necessary to allow power switching.

* Targus, Inc. PAUH212
* Hawking Technology UH214

## Enable snaps on KDE Neon and install hub-ctrl

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed from the command line. Open the *Konsole* terminal and enter the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

### Install hub-ctrl

To install hub-ctrl, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install hub-ctrl
```
