#### Score social posts with an LLM and draft your own

FIRST RUN: this snap cannot reach your keyring until you connect it. Run

```
 sudo snap connect insight-poster:password-manager-service
```

and restart the app, or it cannot save your API key.

Insight Poster is for people who run a Facebook Page and want the drafting
work done for them. You paste in the posts worth reacting to, it scores them
against criteria you define, and it writes an original post in your own tone
for you to approve.

* Import by hand — paste the text, author and link of a post from Facebook,
  Instagram or a search result. Nothing is scraped, so there is no account to
  get banned.
* Score against your own criteria — six weighted criteria are set up for you
  and you can change the weights or add your own.
* Any model on OpenRouter — hundreds of models, free ones included, chosen
  separately for scoring and for writing.
* Topic rotation — give each weekday its own topic, or override it for a run.
* Review before publishing — drafts wait in a review queue. Publishing to
  your Page without review is available but off by default.
* Keys in your keyring — the OpenRouter key and the Page access token are
  never written to the database, a config file or a log.

Publishing needs a Facebook Page you administer and a Page access token from
a Meta developer app you create yourself. Everything before publishing works
with just an OpenRouter key.

Scheduled runs happen while the window is open. Runs with the app closed need
a systemd user timer, which no strictly confined snap can create — install
with pipx if you need those.

## Enable snaps on Manjaro Linux and install Insight Poster

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snapd can be installed from Manjaro’s Add/Remove Software application (Pamac), found in the launch menu. From the application, search for *snapd*, select the result, and click Apply.

Alternatively, *snapd* can be installed from the command line:

```
sudo pacman -S snapd
```

Once installed, the *systemd* unit that manages the main snap communication socket needs to be enabled:

```
sudo systemctl enable --now snapd.socket
```

To enable *classic* snap support, enter the following to create a symbolic link between `/var/lib/snapd/snap` and `/snap`:

```
sudo ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install Insight Poster

To install Insight Poster, simply use the following command:
