#### IPTVnator

One free, open-source IPTV player for every protocol — M3U, Xtream Codes, and Stalker portals. EPG, catch-up, smart search, downloads, and built-in MPV / VLC support on macOS, Windows, Linux, and the web.

> ⚠️ IPTVnator does **not** provide any playlists or other digital content. The channels and pictures in the screenshots are for demonstration purposes only.

**Why IPTVnator?**

* 🎛 **One UI, three protocols** — M3U / M3U8 files and URLs, Xtream Codes, and Stalker / Ministra portals share a unified shell, search, and favorites.
* 🏠 **Content-first dashboard** — opens on what you were last watching, not on a list of playlists. Configurable startup view.
* ⌘K **Command palette + scope-aware search** — jump to anything (playlists, channels, movies, series, settings) and switch player on the fly.
* 📅 **First-class EPG** — XMLTV import, multi-channel grid, current-program info, and catch-up / timeshift / archive playback.
* 🎬 **External players & embedded MPV** — MPV, VLC, and IINA are first-class. macOS gets an experimental embedded MPV — no separate install required.
* ⬇️ **Resume + Download Manager** — playback position is persisted for VOD and series; one-click download for offline viewing.
* 🌍 **Cross-platform** — native desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux, plus a PWA you can self-host or run in any modern browser.
* 🆓 **Free, open-source, ad-free** — MIT-licensed, no telemetry, no paywalled features.

## Enable snaps on openSUSE and install IPTVnator

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed from the command line on openSUSE Leap 15.x and Tumbleweed.

You need first add the *snappy* repository from the terminal. Choose the appropriate command depending on your installed openSUSE flavor.

Tumbleweed:

```
sudo zypper addrepo --refresh https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/system:/snappy/openSUSE_Tumbleweed snappy
```

Leap 15.x:

```
sudo zypper addrepo --refresh https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/system:/snappy/openSUSE_Leap_15.6 snappy
```

If needed, Swap out `openSUSE_Leap_15.` for, `openSUSE_Leap_16.0` if you’re using a different version of openSUSE.

With the repository added, import its GPG key:

```
sudo zypper --gpg-auto-import-keys refresh
```

Finally, upgrade the package cache to include the new *snappy* repository:

```
sudo zypper dup --from snappy
```

Snap can now be installed with the following:

```
sudo zypper install snapd
```

You then need to either reboot, logout/login or `source /etc/profile` to have /snap/bin added to PATH.
Additionally, enable and start both the *snapd* and the *snapd.apparmor* services with the following commands:

```
sudo systemctl enable --now snapd
sudo systemctl enable --now snapd.apparmor
```

### Install IPTVnator
