#### Mute one instrument's stem and play along with the song

KaroKowe Jam turns a song into stems, mutes the instrument you play, and
lets you play along with the rest of the band.

Sign in with your SplitFire account in the browser. Separation and the
SplitFire agent run through SplitFire AI, so you need an internet
connection.

Playback works as soon as you install the snap. Recording and monitoring
need the microphone, which snapd doesn't connect on its own. Run
"snap connect karokowe-jam:audio-record" once after installing.

## Enable snaps on Debian and install KaroKowe Jam

### Enable snapd

On Debian 9 (Stretch) and newer, snap can be installed directly from the command line:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:

```
sudo snap install snapd
```

### Install KaroKowe Jam

To install KaroKowe Jam, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install karokowe-jam
```
