#### OpenConnect VPN Client

OpenConnect is an SSL VPN client initially created to support Cisco's AnyConnect SSL VPN. It has since been ported to support the Juniper SSL VPN (which is now known as Pulse Connect Secure), and the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect SSL VPN.

## Enable snaps on Debian and install openconnect-vpn

### Enable snapd

On Debian 9 (Stretch) and newer, snap can be installed directly from the command line:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:

```
sudo snap install snapd
```

### Install openconnect-vpn

To install openconnect-vpn, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install openconnect-vpn --edge
```
