#### A presentation software package for churches

Praisenter is a user-friendly presentation management tool designed to streamline the creation and delivery of presentations tailored to churches.

With a focus on simplicity and functionality, Praisenter allows users to create slides and templates with embedded images and videos with full control of the content position, font size, colors, and more. Templates can be used to show Bible verses and song lyrics from the library. Bibles and song lyrics can be imported from a few source formats, but can also be created from within the app. Templates also support showing up to two languages at the same time.

Praisenter supports presenting content on any connected device whether it be a TV, projector, or monitor, limited only to the number of connected devices.

**NDI Support**

To allow sending content to an NDI stream, connect to the avahi-control plug:

```
snap connect praisenter:avahi-control
```

**Removable Storage**

To access content on external storage, connect to the removable-media plug:

```
snap connect praisenter:removable-media
```

## Enable snaps on Pop!\_OS and install Praisenter

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Pop!\_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install Praisenter

To install Praisenter, simply use the following command:

```
