#### Qwen 3 inference snap

Qwen 3 is a large language model (LLM) developed by Alibaba.
It is designed for various natural language processing tasks, including text
generation, summarization, and question answering.

This snap lets you run Qwen 3 locally.

Before you start, make sure to have the necessary drivers installed on the host:

**Install:**

`sudo snap install qwen3`

**Get help:**

`qwen3 --help`

**Licensing:**

The Qwen 3 model is provided by Alibaba under the Apache 2.0 license.

The licenses of all bundled software can be found inside the snap at `/snap/qwen3/current/usr/share/doc`.

## Enable snaps on Pop!\_OS and install qwen3

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Pop!\_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install qwen3

To install qwen3, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install qwen3
```
