#### AI-powered command-line search and storage tool

scmd is a versatile command-line tool for searching, storing, and managing
commands and knowledge. It provides three interfaces to suit different
workflows:

* CLI mode for quick command-line searches and operations
* Interactive mode for a guided, menu-driven experience
* Web interface for browser-based access with a built-in HTTP/HTTPS server

Features AI-powered semantic search using Ollama or Google Gemini, a local
SQLite database for storing commands and notes, MCP server and client support,
and markdown training data import.

## Enable snaps on KDE Neon and install SCMD (Search Command)

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed from the command line. Open the *Konsole* terminal and enter the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

### Install SCMD (Search Command)

To install SCMD (Search Command), simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install scmd
```
