#### Provides easy integration of the scrcpy runtime into other snaps.

This snap provides the scrcpy runtime, which can be used by other snaps to integrate scrcpy without having to build it from source or bundle it with their own content.

This snap shouldn't be installed manually, but rather pulled in as a snap dependency during install/upgrade time.

This snap is build for the core24 base, for snaps using different bases, please use the corresponding runtime snap(if available) (e.g. scrcpy-runtime-2204 for core22-based snaps).

## Enable snaps on elementary OS and install The unofficial scrcpy runtime snap(c24)

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on elementary OS from the command line. Open *Terminal* from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install The unofficial scrcpy runtime snap(c24)

To install The unofficial scrcpy runtime snap(c24), simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install scrcpy-runtime-2404
```
