#### Native TIDAL client for Linux with sleek UI, bit-perfect lossless Hi-Res audio

**SONE** is a native Linux desktop client for TIDAL that pairs a polished,
modern interface with bit-perfect, lossless audio — so you don't have to choose between a great-looking app and great-sounding music.

Audio

* **Bit-perfect ALSA output** — bypasses PulseAudio/PipeWire and sends the
  unaltered signal straight to your DAC
* **Lossless Hi-Res** FLAC streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz
* **Signal Path Transparency** — verify a pristine, bit-clean path end to end
* **Smart DAC matching** and ReplayGain **volume normalization**
* **Gapless**, silence-free playback

Video

* **Music video playback in a dedicated player** — full-screen or minimized to the player bar, with HLS streaming that starts at your selected quality and adapts to your bandwidth (video audio is streamed, not the bit-perfect path)
* Videos and tracks share one queue, with shuffle, repeat, autoplay, and history across both
* Favorite videos, browse them in Loved Tracks/Videos tabs, add them to playlists, and find them in Explore and search

Interface

* **12 built-in theme presets**, a full color picker, and light/dark modes
* Floating, **resizable miniplayer**
* Immersive **full-screen player** with karaoke-style synced lyrics
* GPU-accelerated, responsive layout

Integrations

* **Scrobbling** to Last.fm, Libre.fm, and ListenBrainz
* **Discord Rich Presence**
* **MPRIS** media-key support and system tray
* **tidal:// deep links** and HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5 **proxy support**

**NOTE! For exclusive ALSA / bit-perfect output, connect the ALSA interface**:

`sudo snap connect sone:alsa`

---

Unofficial client — requires an active TIDAL subscription. SONE is a streaming client only and does not support offline downloads.

## Enable snaps on Fedora and install SONE

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on Fedora from the command line:

```
sudo dnf install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

To enable *classic* snap support, enter the following to create a symbolic link between `/var/lib/snapd/snap` and `/snap`:

```
sudo ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
```

### Install SONE

To install SONE, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install sone
```
