#### Clear the screen by removing groups of colored and shaped tiles

Remove as many squares as possible from the board. Click on a group of
squares of the same color to make them all disappear in one fell swoop,
causing other squares to fall into place. It is not possible to remove a
single square at a time. You get far more points for clearing a larger group
of squares, and also for clearing the entire board.

Swell Foop is always very quick to play, but you can make it somewhat longer
by changing the board size.

## Enable snaps on elementary OS and install Swell Foop

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on elementary OS from the command line. Open *Terminal* from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install Swell Foop

To install Swell Foop, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install swell-foop
```
