#### Vector illustration editor for SVG and PDF

VectorCraft is an open-source, native vector graphics editor for drawing and editing illustrations, SVG and PDF, with the tools and shortcuts Illustrator users already know.

VectorCraft is part of the open-source ArtCraft "Crafting Apps": a native Rust
application that runs locally on your own files and can be driven from a CLI,
a JSON control channel or an MCP server.

This snap repackages the official upstream Linux release. The headless
command line tool is available as vectorcraft.cli.

## Enable snaps on KDE Neon and install VectorCraft

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed from the command line. Open the *Konsole* terminal and enter the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

### Install VectorCraft

To install VectorCraft, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install vectorcraft
```
