#### A Flutter app for converting webm files to mp4 files

This app currently allows you to convert webm files to mp4 files in linux. This functionality is made possible by ffmpeg, without which the app would not work. While I know this can be done via the terminal, I wanted to contribute to the open-source world by providing a graphical app to do it :)

About v 1.0.3:

1. Arm64 support: The app now works on ARM-based Linux systems in addition to amd64.
2. User preferences: Added options for dark mode and light mode.
3. General code improvements: Enhanced performance and stability.

## Enable snaps on elementary OS and install webm-converter

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the [Snap Store](https://snapcraft.io/store), an app store with an audience of millions.

### Enable snapd

Snap can be installed on elementary OS from the command line. Open *Terminal* from the Applications launcher and type the following:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.

### Install webm-converter

To install webm-converter, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install webm-converter
```
