#### webrtc streamer

WebRTC-streamer is an experiment to stream video capture devices and RTSP sources through WebRTC using simple mechanism.

It embeds a HTTP server that implements API and serves a simple HTML page that use them through AJAX.

The WebRTC signaling is implemented through HTTP requests:

* /api/call : send offer and get answer
* /api/hangup : close a call
* /api/addIceCandidate : add a candidate
* /api/getIceCandidate : get the list of candidates

## Enable snaps on Debian and install webrtc-streamer

### Enable snapd

On Debian 9 (Stretch) and newer, snap can be installed directly from the command line:

```
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
```

After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:

```
sudo snap install snapd
```

### Install webrtc-streamer

To install webrtc-streamer, simply use the following command:

```
sudo snap install webrtc-streamer
```
