Turn the time you spend creating into something worth sharing.

Tickreel records your drawing, programming and everyday desktop work at intervals, then turns it into a timelapse with visual captions, music and your own voice narration. Screen images and recordings stay on your computer.

Features

* Record up to 8 screens and mask selected application windows before saving.
* Add and position captions in the visual editor.
* Add background music and record voice narration.
* Speed up idle sections and display work statistics.
* Combine recordings into weekly and monthly compilations.
* Export video, GIF and audio in multiple formats.

Linux preview (edge)
This initial Linux release supports X11 desktop sessions. Wayland capture is not supported. For microphone narration, run:
sudo snap connect tickreel:audio-record

Install the preview:
sudo snap install tickreel --edge
Updates are managed by snapd. Free exports include a 3-second Tickreel end card. Review exported files before sharing; window masking may not hide every notification or transient window.
