#### Carbon footprint & ISO 14001 aspects for triathlon and multisport events

What's new in 1.2.0:

* TriCarbon is now available as a snap from the Snap Store, with automatic updates
* Event files are still saved in your home folder: ~/TriCarbon/events
* Command line: "tricarbon --version" and "tricarbon --selftest" (checks that calculations, exports and the window work)

TriCarbon calculates the carbon footprint of triathlon and multisport events – per competitor,
per competitor and spectator, per staff member and volunteer, and for the whole event – and keeps
the ISO 14001 environmental aspects register alongside it.

* Carbon inventory with about 110 ready-made emission factors: travel, accommodation, food and aid
stations, water, energy and generators, safety boats and course vehicles, merchandise, waste,
freight and services – plus your own lines
* Travel estimator: turn a quick travel survey into inventory lines
* Results by category, GHG Protocol scope, ISO 14064-1:2018 category and group, data quality and
uncertainty, base-year and target check, reduction recommendations
* ISO 14001 aspects register (clause 6.1.2) with significance scoring
* PDF report and Excel workbook in English or Montenegrin, CSV for Power BI / Tableau / Looker
Studio, JSON; import from CSV, Excel and JSON
* English and Montenegrin (crnogorski) interface
* Event files are shared with TriCarbon for iPhone

No account, no tracking. Built-in emission factors are indicative (aligned with UK DESNZ/DEFRA 2024
and published life-cycle averages); replace them with your country's official factors for audited
reporting.
