#### One-button Wi-Fi repeater - share your laptop's Wi-Fi as a hotspot

Wifi Repeater by Team of Monkeys .com turns your Linux laptop into a Wi-Fi extender with one button. Your laptop stays connected to your Wi-Fi network and, at the same time, broadcasts its own network that phones, tablets and other computers can join to use the same internet connection.

* Uses the Wi-Fi card you already have; no second adapter needed
* Pick your own network name and password, or keep the generated ones
* Scan a QR code to join from a phone
* See which devices are connected
* Follows your network when it changes channel
* Also works with a second Wi-Fi adapter, or to share a wired connection

Wifi Repeater works through NetworkManager. Nothing is saved to your system network settings: the hotspot disappears when you stop it. No telemetry and no accounts.

**One-time setup:** Wifi Repeater needs two permissions to manage your Wi-Fi. The app shows them on first start; you can also run:

sudo snap connect wifi-repeater-monkeys:network-manager
sudo snap connect wifi-repeater-monkeys:network-control
```

Most Intel, Realtek and MediaTek laptop cards can repeat with a single card. The hotspot uses the same channel as your network; radar-checked 5 GHz channels (52-144) and 6 GHz cannot be used for broadcasting.

Only share an internet connection you are entitled to share.
