frame-it makes it easy to use Ubuntu Frame on the desktop:
frame-it.check checks Ubuntu Frame is installed plus options frame-it usesframe-it gnome-calendar will run gnome-calendar using Ubuntu Framesnap set frame-it shell-app=gnome-calendar sets the shell-app optionframe-it.shell will run Ubuntu Frame using the shell-app optionsudo frame-it.root-on-x11 will run Ubuntu Frame as root using X11frame-it.vnc user@host will connect to a remote host and run a VNC clientWhen shell-app is set a login shell is provided from the greeter: Logging into "frame-it" will run Ubuntu Frame using the shell-app option as a user session

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.
Snaps are discoverable and installable from the Snap Store, an app store with an audience of millions.
Snap can be installed on elementary OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.
To install frame-it: use Ubuntu Frame on desktop, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install frame-it --classic
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
