Main Ethereum CLI client. It is the entry point into the Ethereum network (main-, test- or private net), capable of running as a full node (default), archive node (retaining all historical state) or a light node (retrieving data live). It can be used by other processes as a gateway into the Ethereum network via JSON RPC endpoints exposed on top of HTTP, WebSocket and/or IPC transports. geth --help and the CLI page for command line options.

On a Raspberry Pi running the latest version of Raspbian snap can be installed directly from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
You will also need to reboot your device:
sudo reboot
After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:
sudo snap install snapd
To install geth-git, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install geth-git
