Godot Engine is a feature-packed, cross-platform game engine to create 2D and 3D games from a unified interface. On Debian 9 (Stretch) and newer, snap can be installed directly from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
sudo snap install core
To install Godot Engine, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install godot --classic
