Community-driven port of the Windows application “KeePass Password Safe”
KeePassXC is an application for people with extremely high demands on secure
personal data management. It has a light interface, is cross-platform and
published under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
WARNING: There is currently an issue with some Linux distributions where you cannot open a file dialog or open a url when clicked. In this case you can downgrade to KeePassXC 2.6.6 using the candidate channel.
For versions of Ubuntu between 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) and 15.10 (Wily Werewolf), as well as Ubuntu flavours that don’t include snap by default, snap can be installed from the Ubuntu Software Centre by searching for snapd.
Alternatively, snapd can be installed from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.
