This is an unofficial build of the "next" version of Minetest, if you do not know what this means you probably want the [Minetest](https://snapcraft.io/minetest) snap instead.
Minetest is a minecraft-inspired game written from scratch and licensed under the LGPL (version 2.1 or later). It supports both survival and creative modes along with multiplayer support, dynamic lighting, and an "infinite" map generator.
Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.
Snaps are discoverable and installable from the Snap Store, an app store with an audience of millions.
On a Raspberry Pi running the latest version of Raspbian snap can be installed directly from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
You will also need to reboot your device:
sudo reboot
After this, install the core snap in order to get the latest snapd:
sudo snap install core
To install Minetest (development version), simply use the following command:
sudo snap install minetest-luk3yx-dev --edge
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
