Apache NetBeans IDE lets you quickly and easily develop Java desktop, Java EE, and web applications, as well as HTML5 applications with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. The IDE also provides a great set of tools for PHP and C/C++ developers. It is free and open source and has a large community of users and developers around the world.
It requires Java 8 or later Java Development Kit installed.

Snaps are discoverable and installable from the Snap Store, an app store with an audience of millions.
Snap can be installed on Pop!_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.
To install Apache NetBeans, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install netbeans --classic
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
