Pi is a minimal terminal coding harness. Adapt pi to your workflows, not the other way around, without having to fork and modify pi internals.
Extend it with TypeScript Extensions, Skills, Prompt Templates, and Themes. Pi ships with powerful defaults but skips features like sub agents and plan mode. Instead, you can ask pi to build what you want or install a third party pi package that matches your workflow.
The snap packaging is maintained separately at https://github.com/canonical/pi-coding-agent-snap

Snaps are applications packaged with all their dependencies to run on all popular Linux distributions from a single build. They update automatically and roll back gracefully.
Snaps are discoverable and installable from the Snap Store, an app store with an audience of millions.
On a Raspberry Pi running the latest version of Raspbian snap can be installed directly from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
You will also need to reboot your device:
sudo reboot
After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:
sudo snap install snapd
To install Pi Coding Agent, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install pi-coding-agent --classic
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
