query-exporter is a Prometheus exporter which allows collecting metrics from database queries, at specified time intervals or when a request to the metrics endpoint is performed.
Each query can be run on multiple databases, and update multiple metrics.
The snap provides both the query-exporter
command and a deamon instance of
the command, managed via a Systemd service.
To run the latter:
/var/snap/query-exporter/current/config.yaml
with the
configurationsudo snap restart query-exporter

Snap can be installed on Fedora from the command line:
sudo dnf install snapd
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.
To enable classic snap support, enter the following to create a symbolic link between /var/lib/snapd/snap
and /snap
:
sudo ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
To install query-exporter, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install query-exporter
