This snap contains the bits needed to support splash screen on UC. The expected usage is by staging it from the core20 snap. Ideally, all the moving parts will be eventually upstreamed and it will be possible to simply stage packages to the core snap instead of using this snap.

Snap can be installed on Pop!_OS from the command line. Open Terminal from the Applications launcher and type the following:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
Either log out and back in again, or restart your system, to ensure snap’s paths are updated correctly.
To install splash20-core-test, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install splash20-core-test --edge
