Count lines, words and characters in files, text or standard input
tally-count is a small command-line tool that counts lines, words and
characters in files, text or standard input, similar to wc.
Examples:
tally-count notes.txt todo.txt # counts for each file, plus a total
tally-count -s "hello world" # count a string directly
cat notes.txt | tally-count -w # word count only, from stdin
Characters are counted as Unicode characters, not bytes.
