Simple modern alternative to GNU Make. taskctl is concurrent task runner that allows you to design you routine tasks and development pipelines in nice and neat way in human-readable format (YAML, JSON or TOML). Each pipeline composed of tasks or other pipelines and allows them to run in parallel or one-by-one. Beside pipelines, each single task can be performed manually or triggered by built-in filesystem watcher.

On a Raspberry Pi running the latest version of Raspbian snap can be installed directly from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
You will also need to reboot your device:
sudo reboot
After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:
sudo snap install snapd
To install taskctl, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install taskctl --classic
