Private, local-first homebrewing app (beta, free to use)
AegisBrewMaster turns a conversation about the beer you want to brew into a recipe, then helps you brew it.
- Brainstorm a recipe with a local AI that checks the numbers against the style, or design one by hand: all-grain, brew in a bag, extract or partial mash.
- Live OG, FG, ABV, IBU (Tinseth or Rager), SRM, BU:GU and style fit.
- Standalone calculators: strike water, priming sugar, refractometer, hydrometer correction, dilution and more.
- A step-by-step brew day with boil timers, hop alerts and a full-screen kitchen mode; record actuals and fermentation readings.
- Tasting notes, a recipe library with history, BeerXML import/export, and printable recipe, brew-day and tasting sheets.
Everything stays on your computer. The brainstorm and assistant run on a local model through Ollama (https://ollama.com), installed separately — the app explains how on first start.
AegisBrewMaster is in beta and free to use: there is no license charge during the beta. In the future some features may require a one-time license purchase.
