AegisKitchenCoach helps you decide what to cook, plans your week, keeps your recipe library and hands the recipe to your phone for step-by-step cooking, all without a cloud account.
- Household profiles: skill, diets and allergies, checked by code on every recipe, suggestion and plan.
- "What should I cook?": a short conversation with a local AI that suggests dishes from your library first.
- A hundred recipes by cuisine, import from recipe web pages, nutrition estimates per serving.
- Weekly menu plans, a merged shopping list sorted by aisle, and a pantry.
- Get Started Now: recipes that use what you have, or what a local vision model sees in a photo of your ingredients.
- Cook on your phone: scan a QR code, follow big steps with timers over your home Wi-Fi. Special occasions with a timeline back from serving time.
Everything stays on your computer. The AI runs on a local model through Ollama (https://ollama.com), installed separately; the app explains how on first start.
AegisKitchenCoach is in beta and free to use: there is no license charge during the beta. In the future some features may require a one-time license purchase.
