Local-first AI photo editing workbench

Aegis Photo Commander is a darkroom workbench for individual photos, and the editing companion to Aegis Photo Voyager. It combines precise tonal, colour and geometry tools with an AI assistant that can drive the same toolset from natural language.

Editing, image analysis and generative editing all run on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded, with one exception: voice dictation is transcribed by an online speech service.

The AI assistant and the analysis tools require Ollama or LM Studio to be installed separately, running a multimodal model. The generative AI tools additionally require an NVIDIA CUDA GPU and a one-time model download.
