Aegis Photo Voyager is a powerful photo organization and management application designed for massive image collections. Focuses on privacy, speed, and chronological organization with local AI enrichment. The application performs all AI processing right on your machine! We perform preprocessing and have fine-tuned the use of AI to allow the application to run locally on machines with at least 12 GB of memory. While GPUs accelerate AI processing CPU only also works.
Provides image data extraction, face recognition, and image similarity clustering. The snap package contains all AI dependencies for face recognition and similarity clustering - for this reason the package size is quite large. Please allow for the required download time.
The application requires Ollama or LM Studio to be installed separately, plus appropriate models for image analysis and embeddings.
