Hardened security fork of VLC, A local-only audio and video player with themes
AV is a open-source audio and video player that plays files from your own machine. It does not stream, cast, serve, discover devices, fetch metadata, check for updates, or connect to a network at all, Hardened fork of VLC with pretty themes and blobs stripped.
That is enforced twice over. Every module that opens a socket is left out of
the build, and this snap does not request the network interface, so snapd
denies network access in the kernel regardless of what the code does.
AV is a fork of VLC.
