Install latest/stable of bottom

Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.

Install using the command line

sudo snap install bottom

Don't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

A graphical process/system monitor with a customizable interface

A cross-platform graphical process/system monitor with a customizable interface and a multitude of features.

Supports Linux, macOS, and Windows. Inspired by both gtop and gotop.

After installation, run the following commands so the program will run as intended:

sudo snap connect bottom:mount-observe

sudo snap connect bottom:hardware-observe

sudo snap connect bottom:system-observe

sudo snap connect bottom:process-control

To run, type (in terminal): bottom

To quit, type q

To see options: bottom --help
