Install latest/stable of canutils

Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.


Install using the command line

sudo snap install canutils

To run this snap, you will first need to connect the snap to can-bus:

```console sudo snap connect canutils:can-bus :can-bus ```

Commands are prefixed with 'canutils'

Example:

```console canutils.candump can0 ```

These commands are very useful when interfacing an IoT device with a CAN bus, for example, a Raspberry Pi running Ubuntu Core x64.
