CDCat is a graphical, multiplatform media catalog program which scans the directories/drives you specify and makes a list of the filesystem contents (including the tags of MP3 files) and stores the result in a gzipped XML file.
To allow scan removable media you need connect interface:
snap connect cdcat-catalog:removable-media
This program isn't in repositories of 20.04 because it is compiled against old qt libraries that are not compatible with these installed on system. So I made this snap to add the possibility to run unmaintained CDCat on newer systems.
I'm not author of this program. I only make snap for it.
