All-in rate per mile for a truckload offer, empty miles included
deadhead-rpm is a small command-line helper for owner-operators and small-fleet dispatchers who want to see what a load offer really pays once the empty miles to the shipper are counted.
Give it the linehaul rate, the loaded miles and the deadhead miles, and it prints the posted rate per loaded mile, the all-in rate per total mile and the empty share of the trip. Add a diesel price and your truck's MPG and it also estimates fuel and what is left per total mile after fuel.
